My name is Alan Knott and I am a retired banker and professional photographer. During my time with a major UK bank I achieved a professionl banking qualification and subsequently I completed a Doctorate in Administration - specialising in business management.

For over 40 years, on a voluntary basis, I have maintained a close affiliation and working relationship with an Indian Non-Governmental Organisation; ACTS Group of Organisations. This organisation seeks to help those who are disadvantaged by providing a number of services and facilities especially in the area of education.
